Hopefully in the near future I can make a judgment that the site won’t be overwhelmed by bots. Then the registration process will become much less laborious! In the meantime, thanks for your patience.
UPDATE I was able to lock myself out of my own blog with a CloudFlare setting! Fortunately, I was able to turn the setting off again, and get back in. So, the good news is that CloudFlare actually does work. The bad news is that I have to faff around with the settings to find the perp. And there are a lot of settings.
