I do appreciate the response! It may be that I have taken too much on, what with registering users and approving comments. I want to be blogging, not administering! Perhaps CloudFlare is capable of protecting the site from an Internet that is very, very different from the Internet when I started out, in which case we can speed things up. We shall see!

BUG Apparently the PayPal subscription button, which is intended to be tiered, is stuck at the Unobtainium level (Silver, Gold, Platinum, Unobtainium). I will see if I can fix that.

Lambert! It’s so great to see you back. I excitedly went to add your new blog to my RSS reader apps/websites, but was saddened to see that a working RSS feed of The Jackpot doesn’t seem to exist currently. While I’m sure you have a tremendous amount of work on your plate, RSS is key for us old-school blog fans, so I hope this can be made right. No pressure, of course—welcome back to the wonderful world of blogs.

(That is, down on the footer, just under Statistics.) There are RSS feeds all over the place, for individual posts and terms, and for those sites on the blogroll that have them.

I’m glad to have you point this out, because as I urge here, RSS is essential to blogging as a (viable) genre.

I swear, though, that effing RSS logo is a total PITA, and I’ve spent oodles of time getting the stupid thing to work!
